MyBB Community Forums

Hi
I've set up a forum using MyBB for a basketball club and we've been inundated with members who are clearly nothing to do with the club.

of these thousand-odd, about 15 are genuine members.
We have CAPCHA active on the sign-up page so I don't know how all these are getting through.
Couldn't find anything in the past posts so any help would be appreciated.

I would guess most are bots, as suggested above get a registraion question plugin and set a question only club members know the answer to, or set the registration to admin activation.
