I'm going to stick with if I don't need a large part of the features I'm not going to use that software. It's the exact reason I don't use IPB or vB. If you need social networking features they are options that are available.
I really want to keep MyBB as a forum, but I just want it integrated properly.
Because integration is poor maybe additions to MyBB can make up for that instead of having two seperate scripts.
But I'm just going to fiddle around and see where it goes.

I am agree with you. Some scripts and plugins are not compatible with each other. Some stop working after global forum upgrades. And of course they do not interact with each other.
