I have a phpbb forum these stats

Total posts 393 | Total topics 219 | Total members 502

And the forum is fully based on SEO as 98% traffic is from sEO

now i want to shift it to mybb

the problem is

mybb has showthread structure as showthread.php?tid="ID"

and phpbb has viewtopic.php?p="id"

and other links are of different structure

is there any plugin or can anyone tell me the changes?

modifying just htaccess wont help as per what i know , the link generation code will have to be changed too

please let me know the changes

actual post link looks like this :
showthread.php?tid=xyz&pid=nnnn#pidnnnn

when you apply in-built SEO, it looks like :
thread-xyz-post-nnnn.html#pidnnnn

the linking system changes itself when you convert from phpBB to myBB
you can use in-built SEO or a specialized SEO plug-in for the SEF links

Thanks for that quick reply buti just have phpbb with no mods and i justwant to change it to mybb with no mods but just the link structure i want to be same as that of phpbb as mentioned in first post

i dont think anyone has understood my doubts

i have merged database and all settings

but LINKS ARE STILL TO MAPPED AS EARLIER PHPBB LINKS WILL SHOW 404 Error on new mybb forum

hope that makes sense
