I just signed up for the Google Webmasters tool but it asks me to add a code to my DNS, where do I add that code?
Google asks to put a file with a given long name to the root folder of your site.
the file could be a empty file with a long name. it is to be uploaded thru FTP account

Thanks, I did put the code in a .txt file with the name "verification" but google says that it couldn't find the code?
EDIT: Added a HTML code that Google gave me, it works.
