OK, Install went good, got the forums set up, etc.... now, what the heck is the URL link to invite folks.... I know this sounds really lame, but I am stumped. Thanks!!! Dixi
The url to invite people?

Just remove the /install/ directory off the URL you visited for the installer and there you have your forums. The Admin CP is situated at /admin/.

For example,

http://www.yoursite.com/forums/ <-- main board URL.
http://www.yoursite.com/forums/admin/ <-- Admin CP URL.

Chris.
Chris, Thanks! I'll make sure I deleted the install file, that may be the problem....I appreciate your reply.

Still having a problem...... I still cannot access my board via the following:

http://www.mywebsite.com/myforum/

I am able to get there by:

http://www.mywebsite.com/upload/admin/index.php

I deleted the Install directory, as well. This is the error message I get when trying to type the "myforum" url:

error 403: Forbidden!
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.

Can you help? I really like the board software and it's simplicity! Dixi

It would help if you could provide actual adresses. However, based on the information you give, my thought would be that, judging by the address you give for accessing the Admin CP, you can reach it at http://www.mywebsite.com/upload/index.php.

The upload folder was not meant to be uploaded, only its content should have been Smile
That seems to have been the problem, so now, if I want to re-install correctly, how do I avoid having the upload folder install??? I just unzipped to the Forum Named Folder and transferred to web site in original upload to server and that's how it loaded. Thanks again... You guys have been great!! Dixi
Instead of uploading the folder 'upload', just upload the contents of that folder.
OK, did that... only loaded the folders under the Upload Folder to the server and not the upload folder... I am able to access http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/admin but not
http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/

I am determined to get this right and I know I'm probably driving yall batty, and I thank you for dealing with my ignorance!! Smile Dixi
As Tochjo said, it would help if you posted the exact address of you forum, not just: http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/

For eg, mine is: http://www.linuxbox.co.nz/~kieran/Forum/
