Portal Problems

Go to Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Portal Settings > Forum ID to pull announcements from.

Is the number in the box the fid of a forum with threads? If it doesn't have any threads, it won't show up.

It says 4 uhm what should it be?

I checked your forum and fid 4 is a category, not a forum. Therefore it's not possible to pull threads from it.

You need to enter the fid of a valid forum which contains threads.

What is a fid? sorry i'm new to mybb..... Could you do it for me?

2 is the fid of your "Announcements & Updates" forum. If you'd like to pull threads from that forum, enter 2 in the box.
