So when a random person links to a thread of yours on Facebook, you want that link to be converted to a adf.ly link? There's nothing you can do about that. Or do you have a thread sharing button on each thread which posts links to Facebook?

That plugin relies on a 3rd party service, whose code is not editable. So, basically, you will not be able to do what you're asking unless you use a different plugin for sharing threads. And even then, you will need to edit it.
To be honest, with Facebook's weird policies, I'm not even sure if you're allowed to post that kind of links on Facebook.

i think Facebook allow this because if you see mybbpublisher plug-in there is an option for adf.ly
