Hi everyone, i have a request.
We already have deleted posts go auto to a set forum using a plugin. This way the users post count does not change.
The only issue is that them dead posts in the trash bin eat up a lot of db space. 1000's of lines of [img] code in each post from image posts and such.
What i would like is a plugin that will auto clean all the content from all deleted posts and just add something like "deleted" in the place of each posts content.
This way all threads and posts will still remain.. but cleaned and replaced with only the "deleted" message intact.
Just as i typed above.. if you deleted this post, then everything i typed in this post/thread would be gone and only the word "deleted" would be in it's place.
This would save HUGE on our db.
We have 10's of 1000's of posts like this in our trash bin section.
Can you help us?
On another note, if i can just find a way to delete posts completely without it ever changing the users post/thread count.. that would also work.
