Is it possible to
Convert phpbb mods to mybb plugins

As we can convert phpbb to mybb so why we can't convert its plugins????

Really? Why can't it be converted?
It can be, if you know to code, analyze the phpBB mod and find how it works and do a mYBB plugin that does the exact job.
But there is no such thing like a plugin converter, where you input a phpBB plugin and get a MyBB one.

And you can upload a phpBB plugin, but you can't activate it and it won't show up a red alert, as a phpBB mod won't even be read and recognised by MyBB.

@itapna: When you convert a phpBB site to MyBB, MyBB only converts the phpBB database to MyBB one, and not the files.
Since plugins are files and not databases, there isn't a converter for it.

direct conversion is not possible - code has to be rewritten ;
appears to be easy BUT its a time consuming process ; a specific phpBB Mod may
be ported if seeker requests a capable coder ( & compensates for the coding time )

Do you have a specific phpbb plugin you want to see as a mybb plugin?

Well I know a couple MyBB sites using some plugins to use chats similar to this. Start asking around and doing searches. You'll find it.
