Hello mates!
I see that lot of people are requesting and searching for plugins which add the facebook like, google +1 buttons or sharing buttons to the board.

I know that plugins are easy to add these buttons, but I want to ask that if we add the standard codes e.g Facebook Like button script to our forum, will its working be like the plugin or there are differences in their working structures?

And, If I add a separate plugin for each button (+1 - like etc), won't it be a burden on board working? Or let's say, which one will be more faster, the standard codes or a number of plugins for this work?

Sorry for poor english.
Just a standard code is enough. A plugin will only place the standard code in the right place.
There are a couple of plugins for this, and they all work pretty differently. Some use the official Facebook and Twitter buttons, but others just use a simple image that tweets the thread directly to your Facebook wall or Twitter profile. You can use whichever you prefer, because there's no noticeable difference in speed.

Personally, I recommend AddThis: http://www.addthis.com/
My forum is nation wide (Pakistan) and most of our members don't use linked in, buzz, stumble upon, so I figured that these are just not useful for me. I'm gonna add fb and twitter only..

That has an option to remove unwanted links.
Yeah.. But consumes large space. I used that for a while. Anyway, I prefer standard codes.
