Like the table here for the 1.6 general support page..

I want to make a table above the threads in a section of my forum to display the rules of the section in point forum.

This isn't what I'm looking for, I just want a table above my section... I don't want a new toplink or anything...

In your Admin CP, click on your forum, then go to "Edit Forum Settings" and scroll down to "Forum Rules". Select "Display rules on this forum on thread listing", enter a title, content and done. Smile

if a suitable plug-in is not available then I guess, a template modification with template
conditional plug-in is required ( if forumID = x then show table ) ..
