is there a way for a user to hide certain signatures from people?
like I don't want to see somebodies signature while im browsing a forum.
is there anyway to do it?
you can turn off signature for a user at admin panel --> search for users --> find user
--> options --> edit profile & settings --> signature --> select Disable signature in all posts
no no I mean like for other users to do this also.
lets say member 1 does want to look at member 3s signature and member 2 wants to see member 3s signature but member 2 doesn't wants to see member 1s signature. is there a way members can hide certain members signature without having to disable all the signatures for everybody?
^ I was thinking about hiding all signatures behind a button - that is, each signature will
be replaced by a show button . one can view a signature by clicking on the show button..
if you would like to have such button then I'll try for required template edits
I believe this would require a plugin, as there is no default option to disallow people from viewing signatures, without disabling all signatures. Feel free to request one in the plugin requests forum.
