Today I upgraded my site to a better vps. Some of the existing plugins doesn't work anymore. For eg. headerannoucments, when I turn on the plugin it displays the message before the move, even if I edit it it still doesn't change . Same with message bar, I can turn it off and it doesn't display new msg after I update the msg in admin cp. The only plugin which seems to be working is myawards. Please help. Thanks.
No problem dude,just deactivate the plugins before moving into vps,and tgen reactivate them aftet u moved.
This is done before moving to another server.
But fir now the plugins that were errored,have to be reuploaded and then again reinstalled.
So they will appear again in working.
judt uninstall and delete the old files,this will solve ur problem
Thanks, I was trying to take a shortcut since some plugins like my advertisements need to be setup again after I deactivate them . Thanks For The Info.
Make sure ./inc/settings.php is CHMOD to 666, sounds like it isn't.
