Is it possible for guests to be able to pick a name to display when posting? Instead of it saying 'Guest' in there posts, it will say a name they decide to pick when posting?

Just wondered if it was possible, as it seems a bit impersonal having all posts by Guests turning up in the forum as 'Guest' - Gets a bit confusing too!

That's not what the op is asking for, it's a completely different plugin. He wants to allow guests to pick their own username. Follow these instructions by Aries-Belgium:

It will not give a nick/username but shows the IP instead.
