Lately I've been considering getting a Samsung Galaxy S II. What's your thoughts on the hardware and software regarding that purchase? Anything I should know? Pros and Cons?

Get a xoom instead is what I hear. If you want to stick with android.

I've heard good reviews of the phone, but i've heard a lot of samsung hate towards phones. Apparently they aren't a good vendor from what i've heard. I have and HTC and its awesome. Motorola is my preference but it wasn't available.

I have a Samsung phone and I love it. I have a Samsung monitor and I love it.
I would consider the HTC Sensation, IMO it is number 1 at the moment, and the Galaxy S II is a close second.
I'm from Brasil. We don't get HTC Sensations here.
