I am noticing that a number of the new threads being made on my forum have 0 views, and people have been replying to them. I'm sure it has also stopped adding viewcount to threads that had existed before this as well..
Any ideas?
Go to Admin CP > Tools & Maintenance > Recount & Rebuild > Rebuild Thread Counters > Go.
For some reason this is not resetting the values.
Go to Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Show Thread Options.
Check if "Delayed Thread View Updates" is set to Off. If not, do it and rebuild the thread counters again.
It is currently set to Off. I don't think I've ever had that option enabled. Maybe something a little more odd is going on?
If you remove the favicon plugin. This sometimes gives error ..
I've had that plugin for quite a while now. Why would it all of a sudden create that error?
Unless that plugin does something else, it's extremely unlikely it will interfere with thread views.
Can you please run everything on the Recount & Rebuild section again?
I did all of the Recount and Rebuild options, and it seems as though some of the threads have updated while others have not.
Once more, none of them appear to be updating.
I tried running the task that updates them as well, still no luck.
I'm wondering if I have a file problem?
