What browser are you using? It works fine on Firefox.
Nevermind, it does it in Internet Explorer.
But only on your site... it works fine here.
Maybe if you add more forums it'll work.

I don't get a 404 error, I get "No input file specified."
I assume you're running PHP as a CGI binary rather than an Apache module, right? That can cause problems with URLs that rely on PATH_INFO (such as
http://example.com/index.php/blah)
I read that setting
cgi.fix_pathinfo=1 in php.ini will fix the problem.
