I really need help.. i'm trying to instal the "the cure theme" located here.

I read all the "read me" files and i still can't figure it out... it's so confusing.I uploaded the xml to the admin cp but i can't ever seem to get the images uploaded...take a look at my forum.

This is what they said to do
1) Upload the /images/ folder and all its contents to your root directory.

wtf is the root directory... can someone dumb this down for me?

a root directory is where you have all your Forum files.
Login to your server Cpanel. Go to File manager and choose your domain. You will see MyBB's files there.
Its the root directory.

I understand he tough dont' how on learn it confused,

follow on acp theme-> import theme - upload xml.

Advanced Options:
tick: ignore Version Compatibility
Should this theme be installed regardless of the version of MyBB it was created for?
tick: If this theme contains custom stylesheets should they be imported?
tick: Import Templates
If this theme contains custom templates should they be imported

You probably have ftp access to your webserver. So open up your ftp client and connect to your webserver.
Then you will see a list of files. This is the root directory of your webspace. If you see all the directories of MyBB there (admin, archive, cache, inc, etc. etc.) then your forum is installed directly in the root. If you only see a folder named e.g. "forum" or "mybb" then look inside there and you'll find your forum files there.
When you found your forum files you will also find the "images" directory. That is where you have to upload the theme directory to.
