Without going through every single mod made, i was wondering if all mods follow the same file format?

Because if so, i was thinking ti would be really good to have a Mod Installer, as a simialr thing exists for phpBB. It would read the install file and perform the modifications for you.

Would this actaulyl be possible?

I'm not sure about other people's mods, but my later ones tend to have a similar format. The older ones didn't have much of a format at all. However, they'll all get a major overhaul for Gold.

A mod installer is an idea I've been considering for a while. I think I'll probably make something like this when Gold comes out.

I'll do some research into how the phpBB tool works and look into how a similar tool could be created for MyBB.

phpBB's EasyMOD

Their's is still in alpha development I think, but it's core features are mostly working.
