Hello,

I know that 2.0 probably will not be released for a while, but I was wondering if the current 1.6 type of plugins will work with 2.0? Is the 2.0 coding for plugins going to be be a lot different in 2.0?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No they will not work. 2.0 is a complete rewrite so nothing from 1.6 will work.

We'll make it as easy as we can to write plugins (you're not going to have to be a PHP wizard to write them) but there will be changes to how it's done.
