I think there should be a list of clickable hooks
({$mybb->settings['bburl']}, {$lang->welcome_pms}, etc.)
It would be like the menu for the editor with catagories and dropdown menus. I have this ask the question of what is this hook, what is that hook a lot on the forums...

They aren't hooks; they're variables

I don't know about it in the actual forum but it would be very useful to have a list like this in the wiki.

Those are plugin hooks. What we're looking for are theme variables.
