MyBB Community Forums

When my site is finally finished I'm looking to have a site which uses TextPattern CMS and MyBB for the forum. A small section on the homepage of the site will be called "Recent Forum Topics" where I would like to have the most recent forum topics posted on the homepage for viewing of visitors.

How would I go about doing this with MyBB? I know TXP has some plugins that will more or less do this for you with other forum software, but none with MyBB.

Can anyone explain to me how I would do this?

I do this on my site so I have the code for it online, but my site is down at the moment...

That sounds great! Do you think you could post back when you site is up and running again? I'd really love to know how to do this.
