To Whom it may concern,

I installed MyBB 1.6.3 and play around it. I noticed that ACP posting and attachment type do not have the option to limit the upload image resolution, For example, limited to 1024 * 1024.

Because some users may upload a image that meets the file size limit, but with bigger resolution, which makes image blurry.

Any comments?

You are going to need a plugin for this. And as far as I know, there isn't one available.

You can make inline images fit in posts with the Fit on Page plugin, but not attachments.

phpBB3 has this function. SMF doesn't have it.

I think it should be useful.

I did tried Fit on Page.

Should it be a plugin or built-in function. I am not really sure. PhpBB3 is bulit-in.
