How can I get my main page of the forum to display in the portal mode?
If you want your portal to be your main page, you can either rename index.php to forum.php or something, and rename portal.php to index.php, and then add links in the header to forum.php
Or you can use a plugin like the
Portal Redirect plugin.
Alright did that, but how do I post a topic and get it to show on the front page? Like news or something.
You're going to have to change the "Forum ID to pull announcements from" setting in
Admin CP --> Settings --> Portal Settings

See the screenshot. Click on "Change" at the left, and find the Portal settings.
