Try deleting ./inc/settings.php, it should regenerate itself correctly. If not, you have to manually delete each setting group in the Admin CP or from the database.
Can you specify the table paths? Now regarding the Admin CP, how do I do that?

Deleting the settings.php file doesn't work. I guess I'll have to delete the tables, can you specify which ones I'll have to delete?
Go to Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Modify Settings.
On the settings groups that are empty (which are the repeated ones), click Options and select Delete Setting Group.
Can't edit the default settings, only the plugin settings can be edited.........(The option tab isn't visible in front of the default ones)

That's odd, but you're not supposed to delete any tables. The settings groups are in the mybb_settingsgroups. Find the repeated ones and delete the rows (not the tables!).
