Hi there,
my first post here Wink

So to go straight to the question:
imagine that i will install MyBB into Apache password protected folder, where users already have their usernames:passwords (passwords are encoded) inside of the .htpasswd file.

Since people from outside without registration cannot spam or abuse the forum this easy, i don't think that it's a good idea to ask members to register once again, this time with forum.

Is there a way of sync'ing (somehow) users from htpasswd file to automatically add the ones from password file to the MyBB users database?

thank you.

No, MyBB passwords are encodes and as far as I know htpasswd is not.
seems that you don't know, as htpasswd have encoded passwords
Yes, htpasswd encodes passwords, but you wouldn't be able to integrate it with MyBB as far as I know.
