Hi there!
I would really like to have "RSS Feed Poster" (http://mods.mybb.com/view/rss-feed-poster) running correctly on my site (using MyBB 1.6.3) since I think it would be a great plugin if it worked for me. I am currently using the last version (called 1.0.5 or 1.5).
By the way, I already have allow_url_fopen activated (although I think it would be a good idea if this plugin worked with other methods automatically as well, just in case one method fails) for both admin (forum/admin) and task (forum/inc/task) directories.

Sadly, I have the following problems:
1) RSS Feed Poster and Thread Count Pro (http://mods.mybb.com/view/thread-count-pro) don't work together. Why? I would really like to have them two at same time. Is there anyone who has this issue sorted?
2) When it can't connect to an RSS feed, it will stop and won't process the rest. For example when I set up Youtube RSS (I have tried http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/edcmania/videos.rss and http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/user...direct&v=2), which doesn't work, it won't post any thread at all not even from other RSS I have set up. It can't connect to neither Youtube RSS nor any Feedburner based RSS. This is the kind of error I get on Task logs:
Warning - [2] 'fsockopen() [<a href=\'function.fsockopen\'>function.fsockopen</a>]: unable to connect to www.youtube.com:80 (Connection timed out)' - Line: 382 - File: inc/tasks/rssfeedposter.php
3) After disabling Youtube RSS and all freedburner based ones (no one works), task still doesn't seem to run automatically at least most of the times but manually works sometimes. I have tried setting up the task every minute (with an "*") and other periods of time but it's always the same and time execution option doesn't seem to affect it. When I run the task manually, sometimes is very fast and does nothing (it says it has run successfully but it did nothing). Others it's pretty slow and even fails (goes to a 500 or 404 error page: http://www.edcmania.com/forum/500.shtml) but at least ends publishing some new threads sometimes from some RSS sources. That means that running the task manually doesn't do always the same which is really strange and it just works sometimes, randomly. It registers sometimes on Task logs the following kind of alert:
Warning - [2] 'Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/edcmania/public_html/forum/task.php:59)' - Line: 1631 - File: inc/functions.php
4) Duplicate posts from many different RSS sources are indeed a problem. This plugin posts duplicate threads pretty often which I have to delete manually. I seriously think that this should be fixed on next version because seems kind of easy to do.
