Not forgotten, 'soon' just wasn't as soon as I'd hoped unfortunately.

Yes, the ability to add a URL and test account to the thread will be available at some point.
@Matt: Are you saying once that feature is implemented this policy will be put in place?
Some people are getting support for Forums with illegal contents by not providing the URL.
We just help them without even knowing, we are helping for a wrong cause.

It would be better if URL is made mandatory, as we can easily deny support for such persons.
It will be required; they will be able to say they don't have a URL yet, in which case all we'd help with would be (pre-)installation questions. If they have a forum that is in line with our support eligibility policy but they don't want everybody seeing it, there'll be an option to only show it to staff, and non-staff would see a message saying that the URL is only visible to staff. As for test accounts, they won't be mandatory, and again, if the user wants it so only staff can see it, then non-staff will see a message that they've been given but they're hidden. There will also be the option for a thread template so they can list plugins, what they've already done, their version etc, but the URL and test account info would be in its own form so there's more control over it.

Sound good??
In the Spanish support forums we use this plugin:
http://mods.mybb.com/view/forusinf

But it is not a required information so there are users that still come and ask for support, then we ask then to add the information.

So maybe adding a similar thing on the MySupport plugin mybb.com use will be awesome.

Only issue with that is they may not have a forum at time of registration. And, they may have multiple forums so we would only be able to see one which they may not being having the issue with.

Maybe a required field where the user have to enter a forum url for the question he is about to make when creating the suppor thread? (just like a xThreads tutorial does)

It does sounds good, but it will limit the help we (not staff members) can give to them. (too bad for them?)
Sounds amazing Matt. Thanks for the update.
