I like the idea of admin being able to add / remove different contact methods. This should include the ability to specify a template to handle values for these special custom fields. Such a feature will end all the bickering of adding Skype or removing ICQ.

I was going to subscribe as this plugin looks useful, but I realised I am banned from your forum because of an issue we had on here. That's too bad. Does anybody know of any alternative plugins that are similar to Yaldaram's?
