Hello, I have tried searching for the solution so now I post here.

For people with dark themes, the highlight colour makes the text impossible to read, or at least very difficult for the reader.

How does one change the highlight colour?

In global.css , find;

.highlight {
	background: #FFFFCC;
	padding-top: 3px;
	padding-bottom: 3px;
}

and edit whatever thing you would like to change
