I create a MyBB 1.6.2 forum in my local host.

No problem for admin account to post.

But if I register a general user account, all its posts will automatically be merged to the first post of the user (appended with a <hr>).

I created another forum in another PC, the problem reproduced.

It's due to the post merge time limit, set in the admin cp. You can disable it by doing the following:

Admin CP --> Configuration --> Posting --> Post Merge Time --> Set to 0 to disable.


P.s. MyBB 1.6.4 is available, you should install that for improvements.

set the the value to 0 fit the problem.
