Is there a way to change what users can view it?

No, that's not one of the features. You'd have to edit the plugin quite a bit. So you might as well just contact Jammerx2 and ask him if he can add this feature.

I updated the plugin to include that option, along with quite a few optimizations.

With the new version, I gent an error even when I'm paring a post w/o any mycode:

Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_array() on a non-object in /var/www/whatever/html/inc/plugins/amp.php on line 308

I don't get that error, can you give steps to reproduce it?

The only steps I did were: disable plugin, upload new version, enable it, make a test post (without ny mycode) -> bang.
