Staff Hierarchy Permissions
Set-up a hierarchy of permissions so mods dont warn/ban admins for instance
Project Details
With two changes to the default warnings.php, this plugin will better handle the permissions for the warning system by letting you set-up a hierarchy of group ids from most powerful to least powerful. If the user the person is trying to warn has a lower rank (ie, closer to the left) than the warner, permission will be denied. This plugin can also handle usergroups that are considered equal in power. This plugin has far-outgrown its original intentions by allowing you to restrict a myraid of items based on the hierarchy permissions. Full feature list below:

Upgrading from v1.2 or lower to 1.3
--------------------------------------
1. Uninstall warning permissions from admincp.
2. Delete warn_permissions.php from inc/plugins
3. Upload the contents of the upload folder and install Staff Hierarchy Permissions
Upgrading from 1.x or 2.0 to 2.1
----------------------------------
1. Reinstall the plugin
2. Follow the new directions for setting the setting.
Upgrading from 1.x , 2.0, or 2.1 to 2.2:

2. Read the ChangeLog.txt for details on the new settings
Features

1. Set-up a chain-of-command, so people can't warn users more powerful than them.
2. Supports both primary and additional groups.
3. Applies hierarchy restrictions on lift ban.
4. Applies hierarchy restrictions on ban user
5. Apply restrictions to the revokation of warnings
6. Restricts editing/deleting posts & threads
7. Local Mod Permissions override hierarchy restrictions for deletion of threads. This is a feature, NOT A BUG.
8. Super Admins override hierarchy restrictions
9. Quick Edit applies hierarchy restrictions
10. Hierarchy restrictions are applied when editting users in admincp (NOT modcp)
11. Admincp now uses admin redirects instead of error
12. Logging in modcp of permission denial (might help with abusive staff members)
13. Supports groups with equal power.
14. Control over replying to locked threads and unlocking threads.
