Hello There

I been tolled that my forum is old and needs a update says people here how do I know what version I got and how do I update it

How do I check to see if forum old and how do I upgrade if it is a old version

What is your current mybb version? Because upgrade process vary from one version to another

Then only Download and use the Changed Files Package

Unzip all the files and upload them according to their destination overwrite original then visit yourdomain.com/install and complete all the steps

It is advisable to do it yourself. In this way, when will be released a new version (for example MyBB 1.6.12), you will be able to update your forum alone.

Just do all what marcus123 said before.

But... do not forget to do a backup of your database (from phpmyadmin) and also of all your files (via ftp).
Why is MyBB FREE? Because "Free never tasted so good"!

@Flavius Popa is right if you want to be a webmaster you have to learn basics it's not that difficult to do maybe check YouTube for tutorial
