Add an expand button - click on it -> expand long quote

Especially for long quotes with codes etc... must have.

Maybe a plugin can handle this?

Uhm, CSS and JS can handle this which is exactly that does in your picture, just a simple max height and js to expand it.

Click to expand button should disappear after click... or at least change to click to hide.

It looks good, some changes in css to fit mybb default theme and it will be perfect Wink

yes... as i said its the simplest way we can do it... can be made better by sprinkling few jquery and making the slide smooth and as you said, change the "click to expand" to "click to hide"... and modify the css...

i hope someone fork my fiddle and improve it.. i will try it as well...
