[Duplicate] Custom Profile Fields

Hi,

If you create a new custom profile field and set it so only certain user groups can use it and then move someone into one of the permitted groups and he sets data in the field and then you move him into a group which can't use it, the data stays and isn't cleared.

So:

Group X can use profile field
Group Y can't use profile field

A member is in group Y and then is moved to X and he uses the field. User is moved back from group X to group Y and the data is still stored even know his group can't use it.

I do not see such option in the default MyBB system. we have Viewable By permission

^ oh, that is Editable By permission

i dont see it as a bug as long as he could not edit it after moved to Group Y... if he is still able to edit the field even after moving to Y then its certainly a bug... but lets wait for dev's view on this...

I see where you are coming from here but at the same time if they can't edit it, when they moved to group Y it should still be cleared, no?

The milestone was set to 1.8.5 and we don't play to move any issues to 1.8.4 anymore afaik.
