Warning message PHP error

I'm using PHP 7.3 with MyBB Version 1.8.20 

[17-Apr-2019 02:29:09 America/New_York] PHP Warning:  "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"? in www\inc\tasks\delayedmoderation.php on line 112

Any helpi is going to be appreciated.

can you switch php to 7.2 and check if the warning still appears ..

Thanks for replying .m.! Sure i will reverse it back to 7.2 and let you know if the error stops. Just curious though  .m. would you happen to know the reason why the error in 7.3?
