[For 1.8] BootBB - Responsive Multicolor MyBB Theme
BootBB v 5 looking cool
I'm Spartacus.

You know I hate to ask
But are 'friends' electric?
Only mine's broke down

usercp2.php was removed in mybb 1.8.16
but template was not updated to reflect the change so if you go add subscriptions to threads you'll get an error

Nice theme, but not really compatible with fontawesome 5.13.0, lot of searches to do to find equivalent icons, in particular for modcp and usercp.

Thank you, the fix is to edit usercp_addsubscription_thread, usercp_subscriptions_remove and usercp_forumsubscriptions_forum templates and change usercp2.php to usercp.php

Will be added in next BootBB version.

When using FA 5.13, two main changements:
* Change font to font-family: "Font Awesome 5 Free";
* Add font-weight: 900; corrects most of icons

But bootstrap adds bold in labels (usercp > Options uses a lot, it's awfull) and in textearea (font-weight 700) so sceditor is alway bold.

I'm working on my forum and will send you an export of my corrected theme asap.

Is it possible to give the user a switch on the top, so he can switch between normal color and dark mode (DarkBackground)?
Some of our users always asking for a dark mode.

There is a switch in the right bottom corner.

I have an untouched bootBB installation but no switch.

^ not sure if there is a toggling method to switch between dark & light modes.

general method is to install 2 instances of the theme,
[use another name for the theme while installing the second instance]
use same set of the templates for both the instances of the theme
& suggest users to switch to required mode through theme selector

I see, thank you.

But I think the toggling method would be a nice feature.

Is there a way to update to new bootBB versions after I have altered the CSS and the templates?
