I haven't modified Dynaxel in any way, shape or form in over a week. And I came on yesterday to find this:

MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
MyBB Error (44)

Error Message:

MyBB was unable to load the SQL extension. Please contact the MyBB Group for support. MyBB Website

What the hell is going on?

MyBB can't load any database extension. Check that the dbtype is set correctly in inc/config.php
If so, contact your host, looks like they turned off whatever db type you used.
