I second the motion. Naw, I am fine with it existing, but I don't like it.

I don't see why they would remove it's pretty commonly used.

There are a few suggestion. Please note that, they should not be much for MyBB 2.0
  • category moderation, advanced permission for moderator & super mod
  • more minimalist layout reply quote, image and video extraction.
  • merge multiple replies in last reply
  • advanced threads moderation
  • advanced WYSIWYG
  • notify the subject moved
  • thread tags
  • auto resize img
  • include seo friendly url (not require plugin)
  • include seo friendly meta tag (not require plugin)
  • include sitemap generator (not require plugin)
  • include auto delete not activate members for specific date range (not require plugin)
  • include seo friendly robot.txt
  • auto forward theme for mobile devices

Don't remember to be posted before but a edit reason box will be nice. As i'm editing posts everyday i would like the users to know as why.

Maybe will see this on 1.6 and we don't have to wait for 2.0

My understanding is that there will be no new features introduced to 1.6, only bug- and security-fixes.

That said, maybe someone will produce a plugin or mod (I'm not sure which would be necessary; probably a mod) for it.

We do have a few more features planned for 1.6. For example, MyBB 1.6.6 has the ability to login with your username or email.

MyBB 1.6 is just as important as 2.0 Wink
No longer involved in the MyBB project.

Ooh, that's nice to hear. Talking of authentication, I'm on something of a crusade about it at the moment... but I won't bring it up here; I've got a thread about it in this forum.
