My Forum is being Attacked - Puppyite - 2011-12-01
An attcker keeps joining over and over again using proxies. The only consistent thing is he uses email addresses form yahoo. All the email addresses begin with part of my user name like:
[email protected]
[email protected]
Is there any way I can disallow email addresses containing puppyite?
Is there any way I can disallow email addresses containing yahoo?

AdminCP => Configuration => Banning => Disallowed E-Mail addresses
At the bottom add:
puppyite*
to block e-mail addresses containing puppyite or
*@yahoo.com
to block yahoo e-mails

If is IPs start all the same block it

Try installing Fassim Anti Spam plugin. It blocks many proxy ip addresses.
