It's not really the same thing... I'm a developer but I can't design for orange. I'm not having a go or anything, but that means that I'm not interested. Sorry.

Why would theme developers get paid the least? They work just as hard as any Graphics designer if not more.

Cleaning up what exactly, there's barely any activity right now.
A Theme Developer has to do both code & design work, your compensation rates while meaningless, is super unfair.
