RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - imei - 2006-09-16 You sould get either : Just note ![]() Bericht: Hallo Urbanus http://www.urbanus-online.be/forum/showthread.php?tid=249&pid=4180&highlight=hallo#pid4180 Pay more attention. you'll find. also your search post preview dont show highlighted text cause that you limit search's preview length.{perhaps Denois' plugin} RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - destroyer - 2006-09-16 I was searching for 'threads' instead of 'posts'.. sorry RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - imei - 2006-09-16 Yes. I know. you'll be agree with me that we can not highlight threads' view because they have likely many posts and pages... and highligh parameter may not pass through other pages... so it is standarded that Just POST view show highlights... RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - Smethead - 2006-09-16 Nice that you made this imei ![]() I couldn't do it in MyBB 1.1.x (abandoned project), but you could in MyBB 1.2. If I have a forum set up again, I'll definately use it ![]() RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - imei - 2006-09-17 Thanks commenting, whats problem in 1.1.x ? It sholud not have many differences... RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - Smethead - 2006-09-17 imei Wrote:Thanks commenting, whats problem in 1.1.x ? It sholud not have many differences... I worked on a total different way than you did. I could see the highlighted terms in the search results, but I couldn't find a desent way to alter the urls to highlight the terms in the threads themselves. And since I was working on FWS too, I stopped with it and never picked it up again. RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - imei - 2006-09-17 Ok, So i thought correctly. It is not hard to implement for 1.1.x cause that I dont use any new feature.. you just shall work more on RegExp that I learnt nice. just see my landler function that work around links... I have many good info about RegExp, just see the source code of each page of http://www.myimei.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=3a086c97&fid=6 It is a none finished project that save your bandwidth atlease for 20% cause of optimizing pages... or other finished job, imeiAntiURLcache, that changes all of internall links preventing cache proxies for saveing public or private pages... have fun. RE: Search Highlighting in mybb...ُ - imei - 2006-09-23 After some changes, Plugin should now understand any Master Theme and have not problem of adding css manually. have fun using Highlight Searching plugin.
