does the op's host allow this ... I would guess that the forum is loaded from a package and has no access to the directory structure of the space provided by the host

It's recommended to ask for support on http://support.createmybb.com/ because MyBB and createMyBB are kinda different. CreateMyBB uses a modified version of MyBB and not many people here would know how to get their way around in a CreateMyBB board.
