reCAPTCHA Key - Negima - 2013-12-05
I just installed raCAPTCHA II and when I checked the configuration after it let some bots in I found I needed a key or two for it. I am a bit unconfused as when I downloaded it didn't say anything about needing to sign up for anything. The link it gives me sends me to an error page that says it "We've detected a problem with your cookie settings." Before I try to fix the cookie problem I wanted to hear about the sign up thing. The link it gives me is https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/list

So does signing up help the plugin in some way? Also both links take me to the cookie page. I use Firefox by the way.

^ the key is required to use the plugin / built-in reCaptcha system. it needs to be entered in admin panel settings
actually you do not have to install the plugin as recent versions of MyBB have in-built reCaptcha feature.
you may have to clear browser cookies / accept cookie policy or use another browser

Oh, I have already installed it. I was hopping it would stop the bots as they were getting past the captcha I already had.

Well I have figured out how to get past the cookie thing, but I still have some hang ups about signing my site up for the Google. They have already sent me spam bots from the looks at it.

^ hmm., trying to signup at Google for reCaptcha key does not provide spam bots in return!
anyway, would you like to PM me required temporary privileges so that I can check & fix the issues
