Is this possible? - vbmark - 2014-04-27

I run a website that integrates its login with the awesome MyBBIntegrator.

So in order to use certain advance functionality of my site you must first create an account in the forum and then I use your user_id in other parts of my site. This works great.

Now I'm working on a new site that doesn't need a forum but I need a really good and secure user management system. I have been searching for about two weeks now and I've not found anything that really suites my needs.

Then it came to me how great the user management system is in MyBB and how well MyBBIntegrator works.

So, what I would like to know is if there is a way to extract and use only the user security/management part of MyBB without all the overhead and database tables related to the forum features?

I know this is probably a strange request but I've grown to trust MyBB and thought maybe I could leverage only this part of the code.

Any thoughts, feedback, ideas, or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!
