Edit templates through local editor? - Exze - 2016-02-01

I have seen an article before on how to do this previously yet I cannot find it anywhere, nor can I find it under any settings.

How can I go about editing theme templates locally?

You will not find that through any settings.

This is the post you might have looked at: http://community.mybb.com/thread-144390.html

It's a pain to get working but it does actually work. However, I never used it much after setting it up. I find it simpler to do my workflow a different way.

Nope, nothing to do with that, I think I remember it being something to do with the theme settings.

What kind of settings? You can't set anything in themes to edit them locally more easily.. The suggested thread is suitable for people who seek a way to edit templates more comfortably, so not sure what you mean by "nothing to do with that".

EDIT: closed by request since the author mistakenly though about another forum script's feature.
