Update from mybb 1.4
Works for 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8
The plugin is FREE under the license restrictions.
Guests will be able to see only a limited number of threads. The number can be set from AdminCP
After the number is exhausted the guests will get a message to register
How to use it:
Copy all the files in their respectiv folders
Activate from AdminCP
Go to settings and chose the number of threads that can be seen by guests
Keep or change the message that will show after the guest can't see anymore threads

Which CSS file in AdminCP does the CSS code from the file CSS NEEDED.txt go into?
Global.css? Or which file?

I uploaded all of the files in the proper folders, but there is NO PLACE to activate this in the Plugin section of the AdminCP.
It does not show up on the list, therefore, I cannot activate this plugin.

I don't understand about what .css file are you saying. The plugin only has a .php file that should be uploaded under the /inc/plugins folder on your server
After the upload will show as "Guests Access v2.0" in the AdminCP section. You activate it and the settings will be found under the Plugins settings in Settings section
I uploaded some images on my site.
I think you uploaded the other Guest Warning plugin. That one have a .css file.
