The old Authorization code mismatch on Brave - rgmm - 2022-01-29
I did the upgrade to 1.8.16 long ago* and to the best of my knowledge the required templates, 4 of them if I remember correctly, were checked and were correct (I only use the default theme/template). I had read about it in the changelog and in any case haven't seen that error in Firefox, Chrome or Opera.
Recently I decided to try Brave and I get the old Authorization code mismatch error when trying to login. Thinking that it is a strict security browser and since my site is still http I tried turning off its forcing https and random security settings just as test, probably pointless but I did. I get that error no matter what setting and hard refreshing, clearing cookies, browsing data doesn't make a difference. I did come across this https://community.mybb.com/thread-223136-page-3.html and wonder if there is something else about Brave that is causing this.
Any insight appreciated.
*but I am a bit behind on 1.8.24
