Security Tightening for Apache Ubuntu and MyBB - loonyDev - 2022-06-25

I have a fresh installation on a new VPS and want someone to implement more complex, extra security features that will protect my server and site as much as possible from attacks. 


On the server side;

  1. At the very least, I want to pass Hardenize and SecurityHeaders tests
  2. I want to use my PositiveSSL cert instead of LetsEncrypt
  3. I'd like to put my CloudFlare account to good use and have it configured and polished to work perfectly with my site
  4. Need a second account made with permissions designed for other devs to manage the server without 'root'

For the forum;
  1. I want MyBB to store passwords with bcrypt. I don't know if this plugin is still compatible, or what testing will look like today.
  2. Need to switch admin directory link and create a htpasswd layer
  3. Automatic backups + blocked access to backups through the admin panel
  4. hCaptcha configuration, with a medium(default) challenge 


I'll gladly take other suggestions in case I'm missing anything. I can manage with most of this stuff but I have so many other things to put together for this project and could use a developers time. I hope I can find someone worth working with over the long-haul. 

Will provide my desired passwords for separate accounts I need you to make and give you access to everything you'll need to work. Able and willing to make payments in crypto or cashapp.
